What to Expect On Your First Visit
Welcome to Fairbanks Automotive! We pride ourselves on providing our customers excellent service and quality repairs at an affordable price. If this is your first visit to our shop, here's what to expect.

Joe will spend a couple minutes learning about you and your vehicle(s) and getting your contact info. He'll want to know what work has been done on your car in the past year. If you're not sure about the details you can bring any repair orders you've received and we'll look through them after you leave. Joe does this for two reasons: to note any significant repairs just in case there are any issues with them and to also be able to determine when your vehicles will be due for periodic maintenance.

Joe will enter a repair order for your current visit detailing what needs to be done for the vehicle on that visit. You can receive a copy of the completed repair order when you pick up your vehicle.

Joe will then create your online account (optional) for our repair system. This private account will allow you to sign in and review estimates online plus see things like when your next oil change and other maintenance is due. You'll also be able to look at any prior repair orders for your vehicles. This works from any web browser including from your smart phone.

Joe will then get to work on your car. You're welcome to wait or Joe can call/text when your car is ready. As part of your first visit, Joe will perform a complete inspection of the vehicle noting any current issues and anything that might need attention in the next 1-3 months. By knowing this, you'll be able to plan ahead. You'll be able to see this information on your online account too!

In order to help you get acquainted with our excellent service, Joe will offer new customers 25% percent off their first repair bill, a discount of up to $100. You'll automatically get this discount on the first appointment you schedule. In addition, you'll be entitled to a ten percent discount on your second visit (again a discount of up to $100). It's our way of saying welcome and giving you an opportunity to try us out. Joe will warranty most repairs for 12,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.
